Out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) is a serious emergency threatening human life and health. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) by bystanders is a key factor to improve the survival rate and prognosis of OHCA patients. In this paper, we review the theoretical model, survey instrument, and influencing factors of bystanders' intention to perform CPR, in order to provide some reference for optimizing the strategy for promoting bystanders' intention to perform CPR and improving the survival rate and prognosis of OHCA patients.
