Abstract:

Primary care is critical for national public health, and general practitioners are the main force of primary care medical services, which are seriously scarce in Tibet Autonomous Region. The Opinions on Deepening the Coordination of Medical Education and Promoting the Reform and Development of Medical Education Further published by the general office of the state council, has pointed out that the general practice education for all medical students should be strengthened. In terms of training qualified general practitioners, the close medical association formed by Peking University Shougang Hospital and Jinding Street Community Health Service Center, as the corresponding teaching units providing support for Tibet, not only focused on training medical professional knowledge, but also paid great attention to ideological and political education to foster character and civic virtue. The outbreak and spread of the COVID-19 epidemic provid a "special classroom" for medical students, which highlights the "craftsmanship spirit", "the enlarged health conception", the spirit of "loving the motherland", and " people supremacy" for medical students in the process of training.
