Abstract:

Intrauterine adhesions (IUA) have become one of the important causes of secondary infertility in women, which are mostly caused by uterine cavity operation and postoperative inflammatory reaction. Hysteroscopic endometrial separation combined with estrogens is often used in traditional treatment, but the therapeutic effect is poor, with a high recurrence rate. Stem cell transplantation provides a new therapeutic strategy for the treatment of endometrial adhesion, and stem cells are plentiful. In this paper, we review the research results of single therapy and combined therapy of different mesenchymal stem cells in the treatment of IUA in recent five years, with an aim to provide reference for subsequent research.
