Abstract:

Abnormal glucose metabolism in cancer cells is one of the newly discovered characteristics of tumor tissue compared to normal tissue. Studies have shown that glucose as a major energy is, in many aspects, related to synthetic metabolic pathways that support cellular function. This article mainly discusses the characteristics of glioma cell proliferation from the perspective of aerobic glycolysis, the pentose phosphate pathway, and the Krebs cycle, with an aim to provide a scientific, theoretical basis for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of glioma.

Key words: Glioma, Glycolysis, Metabolic reprogramming
