侧方淋巴结清扫(LLND)是直肠癌外科治疗的热点及焦点问题,目前东西方对于LLND在诸多方面存在一定争议。本文结合相关文献及笔者所在中心临床经验,就LLND的适应证、LLND的范围及手术技巧、LLND术后并发症与器官功能保护、新技术对LLND开展的影响等热点问题进行述评。

Lateral lymph node dissection (LLND) is a hot issue in the surgical treatment of rectal cancer. Controversy persists regarding LLND in many aspects between the East and the West. Based on the relevant literature and our clinical experience, in this article we review several hot issues related to LLND, such as the indications, the scope and surgical techniques, postoperative complications and organ function protection, the impact of new technologies on LLND.
