Abstract:

As a kind of chronic disease, constrictive pericarditis (CP) can lead to diastolic dysfunction, which causes a series of circulatory disorders of the body. Many patientswith CP have a poor prognosis and poor quality of life. Currently, pericardiectomy is the preferred treatment for CP. How to diagnose CP as early as possible and prevent the further deterioration of CP is a big challenge faced by clinical workers. In addition, evaluating surgical efficacy and predicting prognosis are also challenging. In this paper, we review the relevant literature to explore the value of multimodality ultrasonography in the diagnosis of CP.

Key words: Constrictive pericarditis, Ultrasonography, Prognosis
