Abstract:

The problem of biological safety protection during long-distance transportation of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) patients across different altitudes is worthy to be discussed. Our hospital adopts various measures, including establish a transfer expert group to analyze and discuss the risks, difficulties, and countermeasures during long-distance transfer, and formulate a detailed and thorough transfer plan. We successfully complete long-distance transportation of 21 cases of COVID-19 across the plateau according to the detailed transport plan and optimization process, which meet the requirements for biosafety protection. The transportation of COVID-19 patients across different altitudes is special. Since the task is urgent, the preparation time is short, and the process has certain limitations, it needs continuous improvement to gradually establish a relatively complete long-distance transportation system across different altitudes.
