Abstract:

Spinal anesthesia now becomes the most commonly used technique for cesarean section worldwide. As a result of a series of physiological changes during pregnancy, hypotension is the most common complication of spinal anesthesia for cesarean section. Severe and persistent hypotension can lead to nausea and vomiting, chest tightness, dyspnea, or cardiac arrest, which can cause fetal ischemia and hypoxia or even fetal distress. Therefore, how to prevent and treat hypotension after spinal anesthesia is particularly important in cesarean section, which is also a hot topic in obstetrical anesthesia in recent years.

Key words: Cesarean section, Lumbar anesthesia, Hypotension
