Abstract:

Breast cancer is the most common malignant tumor in females in China, and its incidence is increasing year by year. With the progress of medical technology, the survival time of breast cancer patients has been prolonged. The whole course management and health education of breast cancer patients are indispensable for improving the quality of life of patients. The whole process management of breast cancer involves screening, diagnosis, operation, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, endocrine therapy, and molecular targeted treatment, as well as rehabilitation and follow-up. The health education of breast cancer patients should be set up at departments responsible for breast cancer treatment and promoted in primary hospitals and general practitioners, with an aim to implement long-term and effective health education.
