Abstract:
Objective To investigate the anxiety, depression, and sleep quality of missed abortion patients.
Methods Ninety-five missed abortion patients were selected in Maternal and Child Health Centre of Xiangcheng District from November 2017 to December 2018 as an observation group, and 95 healthy pregnancy were selected as controls. All subjects were evaluated using the self-rating anxiety scale (SAS), self-rating depression scale (SDS), and Pittsburgh sleep quality index (PSQI). Factors influencing mood change in missed abortion patients were analyzed.
Results SAS score (62.58±8.02), SDS score (57.43±5.36), and PSQI scores (9.81±1.58) in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (34.27±6.97, 33.81±5.18, 6.94±1.01, P<0.05). Age, education level, abortion history, marriage age, and family monthly income were influencing factors of mood change in missed abortion patients.
Conclusion Missed abortion patients often have anxiety, depression, and reduced sleep quality, which may be related to age, education level, abortion history, marriage age, and family monthly income.
