Abstract:

Objective

To explore the measures for health prevention and control management of staff in general hospitals during the COVID-19 epidemic.

Methods

Using the stratification method in the quality control management tool, the overall prevention, control, and management of all the staffs of the hospital was realized through the "3M work plan", which covered the full coverage training and fine grouping according to the characteristics of the epidemic situation and the echelon health reporting process.

Results

From January 29 to June 6, 2020, all the 4463 staff members had no COVID-19 infection.

Conclusion

As the "first sentinel" for epidemic prevention, general hospitals should have scientific and accurate management methods and comprehensive teaching and training, which are the key to reducing nosocomial infection and protecting the safety of doctors and patients.
