Management experience and coping strategies from a large medical team aiding Wuhan against COVID-19

Abstract:

To summarize the management experience and coping strategies from the 14th Medical Team of Guangdong Province (The 2nd Foshan Medical Team) aiding Wuhan, Hubei Province against coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). There are 160 medical professionals from 14 hospitals in the 2nd Foshan Medical Team. The human resource, organization structure and management, protocol, healthcare and quality in the 2nd Foshan Medical Team were analyzed and the management experience and coping strategies were shared like how to overcome the difficulties and realize the high rate of cure and improvement, zero complaint and zero infection among medical staff. Overall, the management experience and coping strategies from the 2nd Foshan Medical Team is useful.
