Abstract:

As the aging of the people in China deepens, the state council and relevant administrative departments are devoting more attention to the field of providing for the aged. The state encourages public medical institutions and various social forces to invest in the field of social providing for the aged. As the top medical institutions at the municipal level, tertiary public hospitals have the natural advantages in the field of providing for the aged with regard to politics, economy, society, and technology. We should make full use of these acquired conditions, committed to exploring the scientific nature and applicability of the establishment of the department of combined medical and nursing care in municipal public hospitals, providing accessible medical services for institutions offering services for the elderly, promoting the development of the field of providing for the aged, and maximizing the social and economic benefits of tertiary public hospitals.
