Progress in research of lumbar facet tropism

Abstract:

The incidence of spinal disease caused by lumbar facet joint disease is increasing year by year. Lumbar facet joint tropism is associated with lumbar facet osteoarthritis, lumbar intervertebral disc degeneration, degenerative lumbar spondylolisthesis, and scoliosis. In recent years, the role of LFT in the process of degeneration of the spine has been extensively studied, which will play an important guiding role in the prevention and treatment of various spinal diseases. This paper reviews the research status of lumbar facet joint tropism.
