Abstract:

Objective

To detect the expression of human N-acetyltransferase 10 (NAT10) in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC) and to analyze its clinical significance.

Methods

On hundred CCRCC samples were obtained for analysis. Each case underwent microscopic observation and immunohistochemical staining for NAT10.

Results

Immunohistochemical staining for NAT10 was positive in all cases. NAT10 was distributed in the nucleus and cytoplasm of tumor cells, predominantly in the nucleoli.

Conclusion

NAT10 could be detected in CCRCC, and it could be used as a potential marker for the nucleoli and the diagnosis of CCRCC.

Key words: Clear cell renal cell carcinoma, Acetyltransferases, Immunohistochemistry
